  • Workforce

Shortages of employees and jobs are always a challenge. The biocluster helps employers and employees to find each other. Member firms list their personnel needs on the biocluster website and find great employees. The biocluster also works with the Governor's School-to-Work Initiative to develop our own future employees from within the state.

  • Legislation & Regulations

As an individual company, your political clout is limited. As part of a group that represents 100's of biotechnology firms your clout will be leveraged significantly. Biocluster membership assures your voice will be heard in Congress and the State Legislature on critical biotechnology issues. The biocluster develops and organizes position papers and trips for key biotechnology issues.

  • Technology Transfer

Need marketable technology that pays? The biocluster maintains relationships with the three state universities and regularly tracks biotechnology developments all over Arizona. From the Arizona Biotechnology Fair to commerce summits with the Governor, you will get access to technology that is marketable.

  • Financing

Want funding? The biocluster links funding sources with those who need the cash. In addition, aid is given to firms needing guidance in securing venture capital, loans or even grants. We compile lists of sources and make them available to our members.

  • Education

Getting educated and making connections. The Arizona Bioindustry Cluster hosts several luncheons each year to address key biotechnology issues and allow member companies to interact. Meet your next prospect, vendor or partner at these meetings and gain valuable insight into key issues facing our industry. Topics have included Venture Capital, International Trade and Workforce Development.

  • Trade Missions

The Arizona Bioindustry Cluster promotes its members domestically as well as overseas, making connections simple. We do the up- front work so that you can focus on closing the deal. Your membership allows you access to opportunities and exposure in foreign markets that would have been otherwise too expensive or too convoluted to penetrate.

  • Membership

There are over 300 biotechnology companies in Arizona. The membership subcommittee develops and executes strategies to involve these companies in the cluster.

  • Marketing

This website, a newsletter and several other tools are used by the cluster to market itself and communicate with its members. The marketing subcommittee performs these functions.
